Kingdom of Pixels is a 2D MOBA platformer that brings a nostalgic pixel art style to the classic MOBA formula. Inspired by games like League of Legends and DOTA 2, it offers a simplified yet strategic experience. Players choose from a diverse roster of pixel heroes, each with unique abilities and roles. The goal is to destroy the enemy's crystal by working with minions. Earn gold by defeating minions and heroes to buy items, and gain experience to level up. Map elements like runes and brushes add depth, allowing for tactical play. With average matches lasting about 15 minutes, it's perfect for quick sessions. The game is in pre-alpha, with more content planned.
In Kingdom of Pixels, you can only buy items at your spawn point, so plan your build before heading to the lane. Win by destroying the enemy crystal with your minions, as you cannot damage it directly. Open the path by destroying enemy towers, which boosts your minions' stats. Use the 45-second preparation period to position near the Gold Rune for extra gold. Always save gold for at least one Health Potion to stay in lane longer. Buff Runes spawn every minute starting at 01:00, providing powerful buffs to turn the tide. Coordinate with your team in 2v2 mode for best results.
